Sequoia Scientific to organize workshop in Italy [Sequoia, April 22, 2008] Sequoia Scientifc, Inc., is organizing a 2-day workshop in Bologna, Italy in the fall of 2008. The workshop will focus on the measurement of particle size and concentration in the aquatic environment.  Invited speakers will present their results, together with approximately 15 talks selected from submitted abstracts.  Sequoia Scientific will also present some of its newly developed instruments; the LISST-StreamSide and the LISST-StreamLine, and host a hands-on session where existing and prospective users can work with the LISST-100X and the LISST-25X. The workshop is being organized together with Stefano Miserocchi and Leonardo Langone from ISMAR-CNR in Bologna, one of Italy's premier marine science research facilities, and together with Gianni Biasini from Communication Technology, Sequoia's Italian distributor.
