| Q: | | What kind of liquids are safe to use with my LISST instrument if I want to do laboratory work using the LISST-Portable or the test chambers that are available for the LISST-100/-100X/-25X? | | You can use water (salt as well as fresh water), ethanol and isopropanol as medium for the particles you want to measure. Do never use acetone, toluene or any other solvents than the ones mentioned above. You should do a zscat using the proper medium before measuring the particles. | |
